When we decided to bring you a blog, we wanted to make it a place to find out about whats going on at Serendipity Sam’s but also to find out about things that our customers maybe interested in locally.

Gold is a project created by local DJ’s Stevie Q and Paul Leighton who both worked at many of the top venues across the region including Barbarellas, Sidecars Cafe, New York New York and The Pier in Southampton, Martines in both Eastleigh and Portsmouth and The Venue at Tower Park.Steve and Paul are setting up regular nights where people know they can hear a great mix of dance music from the soundtrack of our lives.  Not only the classic soul, disco and dance music of the last century, but also the very best of hits from recent years.

They will be appearing this Friday at The Happy Cheese, in Ashurst for an ‘early halloween party’ (adults 18+ only)  (Click here for a Google Map) – further details can be found by clicking here. We know that as a parent it’s not always easy to get a night out, and when you do where do you go. We are sure that this will be a great night out – so don’t miss out!

Mum and Dad take a night off…

We thought you might be interested in something we’ve just heard about.

As a parent it’s not always easy to get a night out, and when you do where do you go.

Recently a few events have been staged for people to celebrate their clubbing days of the 80’s and 90’s.  Out of this has come something called GOLD.

Gold is a project created by local DJ’s Stevie Q and Paul Leighton who both worked at many of the top venues across the region including Barbarellas, Sidecars Cafe, New York New York and The Pier in Southampton, Martines in both Eastleigh and Portsmouth and The Venue at Tower Park.

Steve and Paul are setting up regular nights where people know they can hear a great mix of dance music from the soundtrack of our lives.  Not only the classic soul, disco and dance music of the last century, but also the very best of hits from recent years.  These regular nights include weekday pub bookings where you can go for a midweek drink and there will always be good food available if you want to make an evening of it.  They will also be arranging some club nights and will be involved with other big reunion events.
