Joke of The Week
Its Monday, so its time for…
JOKE OF THE WEEK!
Thanks to all of you who have sent jokes in, and who keep coming back every week to read them. Sorry this one is a little late in the day this week, we have been very busy entertaining all of our visitors today and didn’t have chance to choose a favourite joke.
This week’s joke comes from our friend Naomi who is a regular visitor at our centre in Romsey.
Here’s her joke…
What dog smells of onions?
<Scroll down for the answer>
A hot dog.
Thanks Naomi! If you would like your joke to be included here just send an e-mail containing your joke to… mail@serendipitysams.co.uk

Team Member Profile: Mark (Romsey)

Mark (Romsey), Customer Service Host
In the latest of our team member profiles, we introduce Mark who forms part of the customer services team at our Romsey (near Totton, and Southampton in Hampshire) play and party centre.
Those of you who have been lucky enough to meet Mark will agree that he really loves to please our customers, he has a really genuine customer service ethic which has won him many internal awards through our ‘Going for Gold Customer Service’ award scheme. Mark can often be found at our diner, where he will serve you the best of our food and beverage offerings with a big smile on his face – he is also very keen to help keep our centre clean and tidy, and often helps both during, and after our trading hours to make sure the entire building is at its best.
Mark has been with Serendipity Sam’s for just over a year now, starting initially as a ‘Play Host’ helping to ensure that the play area’s remained safe, helping children find their way around and generally making sure everyone was safe and happy!
Earlier this year Mark was transferred to our customer service team, which is where he works now hosting parties, serving on the diner, and keeping our customers happy. Recently Mark was awarded the Romsey Team Member of the Year 2009 award for his outstanding contribution to the team where he always delivers, and ensures that his colleagues and customers all have smiles on their faces. When you meet Mark, just see if his enthusiasm for fun, politeness and overall great customer care doesn’t inspire you – we are very proud to have Mark on our team, he is a shining example of our team and the efforts they put into delivering a fun experience for all of our customers.
Mark’s favourite part of our play frame is the Astra Slide (the big blue central slide), you can often see him racing kids down it in his spare time (all part of the service!). Mark is a big fan of the food available at Serendipity Sam’s Intergalactic Diner, and his favourite dish is our Chicken Burger (which contains 100% chicken breast).
Mark looks forward to welcoming you for a visit at our Romsey centre soon…

When you arrive at our centre (Romsey which is near Southampton, in Hampshire or Christchurch which is near Bournemouth, in Dorset) you are taken to your own private party room, which is yours for the duration of your party. Our party host who will be with you for the party will explain to you what will happen, confirm important details, and register the children as they arrive. The children take their shoes off and leave them in the party room.
Yes, included in the price of your party is either a Hot meal, or a Cold food buffet. So after the 90 minutes of running around, the children are called over our sound system back to their party room. For the hot meal choice, we take the childrens orders at the start of the party (as they arrive) so you don’t need to worry about trying to get everyone’s food orders in advance. The choices for the hot meal are similar to our ‘Favourites’ childrens menu, they can choose from Chicken Nuggets, Fish Fingers, Beef Burger, Sausages, or Vegetarian Fingers all served with chips and a choice of beans, peas or mixed vegetables (please note all options are subject to availability on the day) For the cold buffet we offer sandwiches (normally Ham, Jam, Cheese Spread and Marmite) along with carrot and cucumber sticks, crisps, chicken nuggets and cold sausages.

So Jeremy went through into the lounge where Kitty was watching television.
No sooner had Sam said that, when they both heard a loud noise coming from the play room. They both ran in to find Lemmy the Lemur playing with his new radio controlled car.

Lemmy realised how silly he’d been and promised that he would never do it again as it was very dangerous.
